10. Brain, Cerebrum, Arterial Supply - Gross
This image illustrates, in a coronal section, the regions of the
cerebrum and the corresponding arterial supply. The three major
(paired) cerebral arteries are the anterior, middle, and posterior
cerebral arteries. In general, the anterior cerebral artery supplies
the medial portion of the hemisphere, the middle supplies the lateral
portion, and the posterior cerebral artery supplies the inferior
aspect.
