20. Cholangiocarcinoma - Gross
Cholangiocarcinoma of the liver creates a marked desmoplastic or
fibrotic response in the tissues surrounding the tumor. This creates
broad, tan, yellow, retracted scars evident on both the outer surface
and the cut sections of the liver. Note the liver is not cirrhotic,
although it is bile stained. What are the risk factors associated
with cholangiocarcinoma?
