7. Chondrosarcoma - Micro
In this micrograph the malignant neoplastic cells produce a chondroid
matrix in which they become embedded. A notable finding is that
multiple cells can be found within a single lacuna. In hyperplastic
or normal cartilage, chondrocytes do not share their lacuna. This
patient's tumor also had cartilage. Should it be considered a
chondrosarcoma?
