9. Giant Cell Tumor of Bone - Gross
This is a classic example of giant cell tumor of bone. The lesion has arisen in the epiphysis and grown to produce a club-like expansion of the distal end of the radius. The cortex has not been destroyed by the tumor; rather, it has remodeled to accommodate the expanding mass. The tumors are believed to arise from a monocyte precursor. What would be the age and sex of a patient with giant cell tumor of bone? Answer
